Water lentils delicious and healthy!
Water lentils are an old, forgotten vegetable that is still eaten by by e.g. Thai people.
Also you can prepare the most delicious dishes like water lentil salad and even a real water lentil curry. This little cook booklet provides, prior to a major market introduction of this vegetable, a number of recipes based on water lentil. It also includes a manual for safely growing the lentils for your own consumption.
Who would have imagined that water lentils could be used to prepare such nutritious and delicious recipes! This vegetable brings together the Dutch Food Industry and the Biobased Business that traditionally are separate businesses.

Onion flavored protein production
The first full scale production solution will be realized in Putten (NL) in a Joint Venture with Mol Fres Food B.V. to be started in 2017 growing within 2 years to 60 tons onion residue conversion weekly.
At present the production takes place at demo scale plant where the process is being optimized and fine tuned.
